Biography:

Dr. Bruce Banner, a brilliant scientist, is a central figure in the Marvel Universe. He first appeared in The Incredible Hulk #1 (May 1962).

Banner's life changed irrevocably during a gamma bomb experiment. An accident exposed him to immense amounts of gamma radiation.

As a result of this exposure, whenever Banner experiences extreme stress or anger, he transforms into the Hulk, a massive, incredibly strong, and rage-filled being. Banner struggles to control this transformation and often sees the Hulk as a dangerous alter ego.

Despite the danger the Hulk presents, Banner dedicates his life to finding a cure for his condition while often using the Hulk's powers to protect others.
